HELP THE GAY BRADSHAW WITH HIS RESEARCH!

Hey you,

I have been writing columns, you might have read some of them already, if not please do ;-).

Anyways I want to write a column about HIV & AIDS and how it still effects the gay community in particular so I would be really happy if you could answer some questions for me. This is all anonymous, I don’t want your name or any information. I have a few questions for if you have contracted HIV and if you haven’t.

If you have contracted the virus:

1. How long have you been positive?

2. How did you come to terms with the having the virus?

3. Do you tell your hookups? Why do or don’t you?

4. If you tell them, what sort of reactions do you get?

5. What do you think of the hiv care in the Netherlands?

6. Do you feel like you have been discriminated against for having the virus?

7. What would you tell young gays that have recently tested positive?

8. Is this something you can talk about with friends/family?

If you haven’t got the virus

1. Are you concerned about HIV, if so, how and why?

2. What do you do to prevent an HIV infection? (Think condoms, check ups, prep?)

3. What would you do/say if your hook up tells you that they are positive?

4. Is this something you can talk about with friends/family?

Please note that I am going to try an honest and open column. My goal is to provide information and honest opinions. I want to find out how much we have progressed from the 80’s, if we have at all.

Thank you and please feel free to add as much information as you like.

Love, TGB.
